A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE PROFOUND SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES UPON THE DEATH OF MARY ELLEN BRAMLETT OF BISHOPVILLE AND TO EXTEND THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Mary Ellen Bramlett of Bishopville on February 15, 2015, at the venerable age of eighty-three; and

Whereas, born in Lee County, Mary Ellen Bramlett was a daughter of the late Roderick H. Bramlett and the late Olive Elmore Bramlett; and

Whereas, this woman of faith served her God as a member of Bethany Baptist Church and retired from Shealy Electrical Wholesalers and Modern Exterminating Company; and

Whereas, Mary Ellen Bramlett leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Dorothy B. Arnold (Leon), and a brother, Robert H. "Bobby" Bramlett, both of Ashwood; a sister-in-law, Bessie Bramlett of Lakewood, Washington; a nephew, Martin Arnold (Cathy); three nieces, Carol Murphy (Doug), Debbie Anderson (Andy), and Linda Hoss (Rob); four great-nieces, Stacy Arnold, Crissy Hoss, Ashlyn Anderson, and Kyla Anderson; and three great-nephews, Justin Arnold, Matt Hoss, and Dylan Anderson. She will be missed. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, express their profound sorrow upon the death of Mary Ellen Bramlett of Bishopville and extend the deepest sympathy to her family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to Robert H. "Bobby" Bramlett for the family.
