TO CONGRATULATE AND HONOR DR. BRIAN HUGHES OF ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA, FOR HIS MANY ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND WISH HIM CONTINUED SUCCESS, HEALTH, AND HAPPINESS FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.
Whereas, Dr. Brian Hughes has dutifully served the citizens of South Carolina in his capacity as a doctor of chiropractic for over a decade, helping to alleviate the pain and suffering of thousands of patients; and
Whereas, Dr. Hughes' outstanding commitment to improving the lives of South Carolinians by providing chiropractic care has distinguished him among his peers as one of the premier chiropractors in South Carolina, and he is the second chiropractor in the history of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association to receive the Young Chiropractor of the Year award twice. He was also the recipient of the 2016 Chiropractor of the Year award presented by the South Carolina Chiropractic Association; and
Whereas, through his leadership as President of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association, Dr. Hughes planned, organized, and executed a successful Flood Relief Drive to help those affected by the historic October 2015 flood; and
Whereas, Dr. Hughes is a devoted husband to his wife, Iva, and a loving father to his two fine children, Ayden and Brady; and
Whereas, following in his family's footsteps, Dr. Hughes became the twenty-third chiropractor in his extended family. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution congratulate and honor Dr. Brian Hughes of Rock Hill, South Carolina, for his many accomplishments and wish him continued success, health, and happiness for many years to come.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Dr. Brian Hughes.
