Freddie has directed hundreds of songs over the years, but his determination, will power, and strong faith can be summed up in the words of his favorite song, "Total Praise": "Lord, I will lift mine eyes to the hills, knowing my help is coming from You. Your peace You give me in time of a storm. You are the source of my strength; you are the strength of my life. I lift my hands in total praise to You!"; and

Whereas, married to Flora N. Mack, Freddie finds strength for his many duties through her strong support, as well as that of their children, Qwanderlyn Mack Goodson (Michael), Freddie Andre (Angela), Dr. Tiffany Mack Daniels (Raymond), and Nigel Bernard. Six delightful grandchildren also love and encourage Freddie: Michael Dorian, Dalen O'Neal, Freddie O'Brien, Eris Loren, Raymond Evan, and Alana Katherine; and

Whereas, the House, cognizant of his many years of spiritual nourishment of the people of South Carolina through music, wishes to express its grateful thanks to Mr. Mack and wish him God's best as he continues to run the race the Lord has set before him. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
