A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation - State Board of Registration for Foresters, RELATING TO Quorum, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 5187, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1.   The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation - State Board of Registration for Foresters, relating to Quorum, designated as Regulation Document Number 5187, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the S.C. Code, are approved.

SECTION 2.   This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The South Carolina Board of Registration for Foresters proposes to amend the definition of "quorum" in R.53-4 to be consistent with the definition appearing in the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), S.C. Code Section 30-4-20(e).

A Notice of Drafting was published in the State Register on February 24, 2023.
