A bill

to amend the South Carolina Code of Laws by adding section 24-13-740 so as to provide the supervised furlough program terminates once the remaining offenders enrolled in the program complete the program.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1.   Article 9, Chapter 13, Title 24 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding:

   Section 24-13-740.   The provisions of this article relating to the development, establishment, and implementation of a supervised furlough program by the Department of Corrections, and the Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services terminate once the remaining offenders enrolled in the program complete the program.

SECTION 2.   This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
