A house RESOLUTION
TO CONGRATULATE MICHAELA JAMES UPON BEING NAMED 2024 PEE DEE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ROOKIE TEACHER OF THE YEAR, TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION FOR HER DEDICATED SERVICE TO CHILDREN, AND TO WISH HER CONTINUED SUCCESS IN THE FUTURE.
Whereas, the House of Representatives is pleased to learn that Michaela James has been selected 2024 Rookie Teacher of the Year for Pee Dee Elementary School; and
Whereas, the Rookie Teacher of the Year program recognizes and celebrates the early success of teachers within the first three years of their careers. Rookie Teacher of the Year school honorees are nominated by their school principals for their professionalism in providing quality instruction and meeting the needs of all students; and
Whereas, these young teachers act as role models for their peers and demonstrate a consistent commitment to excellence; and
Whereas, South Carolina is fortunate to have such dedicated and caring teachers educating and molding South Carolina's youth; and
Whereas, it is entirely appropriate for the South Carolina House of Representatives to pause in its deliberations to honor Michaela James, 2024 Rookie Teacher of the Year for Pee Dee Elementary School, for amply providing her students the opportunity to continue growing into exemplary citizens and future leaders of their communities. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Michaela James upon being named 2024 Pee Dee Elementary School Rookie Teacher of the Year, express appreciation for her dedicated service to children, and wish her continued success in the future.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Michaela James.
