A senate RESOLUTION

 

TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR CAROLYN LENHARDT, DEAN OF STUDENTS AT ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA CATHOLIC SCHOOL, UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT ON JUNE 2, 2023, AFTER FIFTY-THREE YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE IN EDUCATION, AND TO WISH HER CONTINUED SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

 

Whereas, it is altogether fitting and proper that the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina should pause in their deliberations to express their gratitude to Carolyn Lenhardt for her significant contributions to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School as the school's faculty, students, and families celebrate her illustrious career on Wednesday, May 24, 2023; and

 

Whereas, throughout her remarkable career, Ms. Lenhardt has had a tremendous influence in the lives of countless students, impacting their education to become productive citizens; and

 

Whereas, Ms. Lenhardt has faithfully exemplified the dedicated teacher and educator who is wholly devoted to the ideals of public service and excellence in education for the students of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School in West Greenville; and

 

Whereas, she has earned the admiration and respect of her students and colleagues at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School for her collegiality, enthusiasm, professionalism, sense of humor, and hard work; and

 

Whereas, grateful for her many years of distinguished service to the students and families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, the members of the South Carolina Senate take great pleasure in extending best wishes to Carolyn Lenhardt as she transitions to a richly deserved retirement and the unhurried pace of the days ahead and wish her many years of enjoyment in her well-earned retirement. 

Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, recognize and honor Carolyn Lenhardt, Dean of Students at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, upon the occasion of her retirement on June 2, 2023, after fifty-three years of outstanding service in education, and wish her continued success and happiness in all her future endeavors.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Carolyn Lenhardt.
