The Chamber of the Senate

The Senate Chamber was completely renovated during the State House renovation of 1995-1998.  The Senate Rostrum is made of British Honduras mahogany.  The Sylvan Brothers clock behind the desk was installed in 1915.  The lamps at either end of the desk date back to 1902.  The cast iron columns supporting the balcony date back to 1887.  The State House renovation added state-of-the-art technology to the Chamber including laptop computers on Senate Member desks.
