Girl Scout Legislative Week – March 9-13, 2009

The week of March 9 through March 13, 2009 is Girl Scout Legislative Week in South Carolina. Each year a group of Girl Scouts is named to the Girl Scout Legislative Page Class. Selection for this honor is based on leadership skills, involvement in the community, an interest in government, as well as other Girl Scout activities. The Girl Scouts chosen assist the South Carolina Senate and the House of Representatives during Girl Scout Legislative Week. All are recognized by the House and Senate and meet with the Governor and Lt. Governor. Congratulations to all of this year’s participants!
