A bill

to amend the South Carolina Code of Laws by adding Section 11-50-40 so as to define environmental facilities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1.Section 11-50-40 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding an item at the end to read:

(14) "Environmental facilities" means any publicly owned projects, structures, and other real or personal property acquired, rehabilitated, constructed, or planned for the purposes of water supply, treatment, storage and distribution, sewerage collection treatment and disposal, or solid waste collection, treatment, and disposal.

SECTION 2.This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
