EXPLANATION:

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 86, AID TO SUBDIVISIONS-STATE TREASURER, page 481, after line 3, by adding a new paragraph to read:

/86.___(AS-TREAS: Local Government Fund) From the funds appropriated to the Local Government Fund each county and municipality shall receive a distribution in an amount that equals the average of the distribution the county or municipality would receive using the same population ratios as used in the previous fiscal year and the distribution the county or municipality would receive using the population ratios according to the most recent United States Census.      /
