EXPLANATION: Amend the Contract Authority proviso at DHHS to allow the agency to establish administrative contracts with ABA providers to enhance provider capacity statewide

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 33, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES, page 349, paragraph 33.19, line 1, by inserting after "recipients.":
/ For Fiscal year 2018-19, the Department shall develop Autism Therapy Innovation contracts with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) providers and education institutions to promote and foster the development of education, training, and certification programs for ABA therapy services to support the development of provider capacity statewide and address critical access issues in the ABA community. /
