Amend the House resolution, as and if amended, by striking all after the resolving clause and inserting:
/That Rule 1 of the Rules of the House of Representatives is amended by adding:
"1.13 Section 2-3-110 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, designates the Speaker of the House as the Chief Administrator Officer of the House of Representatives, and as such, the Speaker is authorized to initiate or otherwise participate in litigation on behalf of the House. The Speaker shall comply with the applicable rules of civil procedure in the relevant jurisdiction when taking action on behalf of the House." /
