Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IV, Enhancements to Workforce Preparation, Subpart II, Statewide Assessment Program Revisions, by adding an appropriately numbered SECTION at the end to read:

/ SECTION      __.      Article 3, Chapter 18, Title 59 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

     "Section 59-18-365.      (A)      In schools that receive an overall rating of unsatisfactory, the results of early childhood and elementary school academic assessments must be utilized to develop individualized learning plans for each student to ensure proper emphasis is given to strengthening the student's particular academic and developmental areas of need as identified by the assessments.
     (B)      To enable educators to make the best possible use of these assessment results, the department shall develop professional related development for educators that focuses on data analytics and tools for clearly expressing the purpose and results of these assessments to parents, and this professional development must be provided to all elementary school teachers annually." /
