Senator FANNING proposed the following amendment (WAB\419C061.SM.WAB20):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Section 59-29-250(C)(5), as contained in SECTION 3.A., by deleting the item and inserting:

/(5) develop criteria for postsecondary computer science teacher preparation programs, in conjunction with the State Board of Education, which shall develop guidelines creating certification pathways for computer science teachers, provided any such certification pathways requirements must be offered at no cost to the teachers; /
