Senator FANNING proposed the following amendment (WAB\419C130.AGM.WAB20):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Section 59-59-60(2), as contained in SECTION 25.A., by deleting the item and inserting:

/ (2) promote an increased awareness of, and career counseling by providing access to the South Carolina Occupational Information System for all schools. However, if a school chooses another occupational information system, that system must be approved by the State Department of Education that focuses on state workforce needs and on the careers that require a high school diploma, entrance into the U.S. Armed Forces, industry certification, postsecondary degree, or postsecondary credential; and /
