Senator HUTTO proposed the following amendment (1CBH5):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, page 4, by striking Section 44-41-660 (A) as contained in SECTION 3 and inserting the following:

/ Section 44-41-660 (A). No person shall perform, induce, or attempt to perform or induce an abortion on a pregnant woman except for a physician who determines that according to standard medical practice that a medical emergency exists that prevents compliance with Section 44-41-650 . /
