EXPLANATION:

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 542, after line 31, by adding an appropriately numbered paragraph to read:

/ (GP: Agency head salaries) In the current fiscal year, salary increases for agency heads that are subject to the Agency Head Salary Commission shall not become effective until approved by a majority of the Senate and a majority of the House of Representatives in separate votes held only on the question of each individual increase. /

Amend totals and titles to conform.
