Rep. McKNIGHT proposes the following Amendment No. to H. 4998 (COUNCIL\SA\4998C002.JN.SA22):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, by striking SECTION 7 and inserting:

/ SECTION7. This act takes effect ninety days after approval by the Governor. A wholesaler , retailer, or producer who is offering for sale an alcoholic consumable at the time of the effective date of this act must be compensated for any loss of revenue due to the provisions of this act from the general fund for five years following the effective date of this act./
