Reps. KING and McDANIEL propose the following Amendment No. to H. 4608 (COUNCIL\WAB\4608C103.RT.WAB22):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 2, Section 59-1-500(C) by adding an appropriately numbered item to read:

/( ) Any person who disputes a student's sex shall pay the costs associated with the health examination performed by the student's health care provider, including any tests that may be required in relation to the health examination. A student whose sex is wrongfully disputed has a cause of action for damages against the person who initiated the dispute. /
