Reps. KING and McDANIEL propose the following Amendment No. to H. 4608 (COUNCIL\WAB\4608C110.RT.WAB22):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 2, by striking Section 59-1-500 and inserting:

/ "Section 59-1-500.Athletic teams or sports that are sponsored by a public high school or any school or institution whose students or teams compete against a public high school shall comply with the regulations and guidelines set forth in Title IX of the Education Amendme nts of 1972, 20 U.S.C. s. 1681." /
