Reps. G.M. SMITH and BANNISTER propose the following Amendment No. to H. 5075 (COUNCIL\DG\5075C002.NBD.DG22):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, by striking Section 12-6-3795(B)(5)(b) and inserting:

/ (b) The total amount of all South Carolina housing tax credits that may be allocated in any calendar year must not exceed twenty-five million dollars, plus the total of all unallocated tax credits, if any, for any preceding years, and the total amount of any previously allocated tax credits that have been recaptured, revoked, canceled, or otherwise recovered but not otherwise reallocated./
