Rep. Pendarvis proposes the following amendment (LC-4624.SA0036H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, by striking Sections 44-42-340 and 44-42-350 and inserting:

 Section 44-42-340. Public funds may not be used directly or indirectly for gender transition procedures to a minor.

 Section 44-42-350.  The South Carolina Medicaid Program shall not reimburse or provide coverage for practices prohibited under the provisions of this chapter to a minor.
