Rep. J. L. Johnson proposes the following amendment (LC-4624.VR0058H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, by striking Section 44-42-320(C) and inserting:

 (C) Notwithstanding subsections (A) and (B), a physician may continue to prescribe a cross-sex hormone or puberty-blocking drug to a minor individual if two medical doctors state that it is not in the minor individual's best interest, as the change will likely harm the minor's health or well being, to decrease or discontinue the prescription.
