 Senator YOUNG proposes the following amendment (SM PROPERTY SALE APPROVAL):

 Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 37, DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOL & OTHER DRUG ABUSE SERVICES, page 387, after line 16, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:

/ (DAODAS: Real Property Sale Approval) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no county drug and alcohol authority receiving state funds shall sell, transfer, or otherwise dispose of any real property owned by the authority without prior approval from a majority of the local legislative delegation representing the county in which the property is located. The authority shall submit a written request to the delegation, including details of the proposed sale, and receive written approval before proceeding with any transaction as to the real property. /
