 Senators CLIMER and LEBER propose the following amendment (SM TWO SEXES):

 Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 566, after line 27, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:

/ (GP: Two Sexes) For the current fiscal year, state agencies, as well as state-supported institutions of higher learning that directly or indirectly receive funds appropriated or authorized through the general appropriations act, shall adopt a policy consistent with federal law as established in the President's Executive Order No. 14168 entitled "Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government" signed on January 20, 2025, including but not limited to an affirmation that there exists only two biological sexes: "male" and "female." The agencies shall provide written notice to all their employees, students, the public, and all related personnel of the policy immediately upon adoption. /
