Reps. WATERS and JONES propose the following amendment (LC-4757.WAB0008H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 2, Section 59-28-320, by adding a subsection to read:

 (F) A parent may elect to decline or opt a child out of nonemergency care or services authorized under this section. When a parent makes this decision, the refusal may be documented through a written, informed refusal signed by the parent and maintained in the child's record to clearly reflect that the parent has exercised the right to opt the child out of care.

Renumber sections to conform.
