Reps. CROMER and PACE propose the following Amendment No. to H.5126 as introduced by Ways & Means

EXPLANATION: Prohibits increases in certain authorizations for Clemson University.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 14, CLEMSON UNIVERSITY- EDUCATION & GENERAL, page 355, after line 13, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/ (CU: Other Funds Authorizations) For Fiscal Year 2026-27, the Executive Budget Office shall not grant any increases there in Other Earmarked E&G Unrestricted, Other Earmarked Auxiliary, and College of Veterinary Medicine Other Restricted authorizations, or any corresponding FTEs, for Clemson University. The Executive Budget Office is authorized and directed to make all necessary technical and accounting adjustments in the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) to ensure the agency's budget structure and funding levels conform to this provison. /
