EXPLANATION: Amend proviso to delete language allowing state funds to be used for resettlement program if the county council approves the relocation.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 534, paragraph 117.104, lines 26-27, by amending the proviso to read:

/No state funds shall be expended to assist in the United States Refugee Resettlement Program unless the county council of the county where the resettlement is to occur approves the relocation./

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend totals and titles to conform.
