Rep. PEDALINO proposes the following Amendment No. to H.5126 as introduced by Ways & Means

EXPLANATION: Requires all funds, from any source, for the Third Circuit Drug Court to pass through the Third Circuit Solicitor's Office, which must oversee the usage of the funds by the drug court including ensuring no more than $30,000 is used for the salary of the drug court judge.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 572, after line 9, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/(GP: Third Circuit Drug Court Administration) For the current fiscal year, all funds appropriated or authorized for the Drug Court for the Third Judicial Circuit shall be transferred to the Solicitor's Office for the Third Judicial Circuit. The Solicitor's Office shall oversee the distribution and usage of these funds by the Drug Court program and shall ensure the amount utilized for the salary of the drug court judge shall not exceed $30,000 in total./
