Rep. MCCRAVY proposes the following amendment (LC-3924.PH0008H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 39, Section 61-14-900, by adding a subsection to read:

 (G)(1) It is unlawful for the following individuals to be the owner of a retailer that sells psychoactive hemp-cannabinoid products or be the owner of a manufacturer, producer, or wholesaler of such products:
  (a) an active law enforcement officer or immediate family member of an active law enforcement officer;
  (b) an employee of the Department of Revenue or immediate family member of an employee at the Department of Revenue;
  (c) an employee of SLED or an immediate family member of an employee at SLED; or
  (d) an employee of the Department of Public Health or an immediate family member of an employee at the Department of Public Health.
