 Senator OTT proposes the following amendment (5126R013.CM.RO.DOCX):

 Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 1A, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION- EIA, page 343, after line 8, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:

/1A.___(SDE-EIA:Assessment) The department is authorized to carry forward into the current fiscal yearprior year state assessment funds for the same purpose. Districts shall be reimbursed for the assessments offered pursuant to Section 59-18-340. /

 Renumber sections to conform.

 Amend sections, totals and title to conform.
