Senator Martin proposes the following amendment (SR-3569.CEM0001S):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered SECTION to read:

SECTION X. Chapter 40, Title 27 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding:

 Section 27-40-460.  A landlord shall release a signee from the rental agreement and return any prepaid rent or security/rental deposit, if the signee notifies the landlord one hundred and twenty days prior to taking possession of the premises that the signee will not be taking possession of the premises.

Renumber sections to conform.
