EXPLANATION: Suspends statutory powers and duties of the Advisory Committee on the Regulation of Childcare Facilities.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 38, DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, page 398, after line 12, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/ (DSS: Advisory Committee on the Regulation of Childcare Facilities) For the current fiscal year, all statutory powers and duties of the Advisory Committee on the Regulation of Childcare Facilities are suspended, and no funds appropriated to the Department of Social Services may be used for the committee. /

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend totals and titles to conform.
