A Bill to amend Chapter 5 of Title 27, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to estates and construction of documents creating estates by adding Section 27-5-25 so as to abolish the common law rule against perpetuities and replace it with a statutory rule against perpetuities which adopts provisions which prevent the defeat of the transferor's intent.
