    A Bill to amend Section 12-35-550, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to sales tax exemptions, so as to provide that in the case of the exemption allowed on the sale of motor vehicles and motor bikes to members of the armed forces domiciled in another state but stationed in South Carolina, a notarized statement must be furnished to the vendor certifying that the purchaser is a member of the armed forces rather than a statement to that effect signed by a commissioned officer higher in rank than the purchaser, to delete the exemption allowed on sales from vending machines where the sales price does not exceed ten cents, and to repeal Section 12-35-1220, relating to extensions for filing sales tax returns or paying sales tax.
