    A BILL TO AMEND SECTIONS 9-1-1140 AND 9-11-50, BOTH AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO ESTABLISHING SERVICE CREDIT IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND THE SOUTH CAROLINA POLICE OFFICERS RETIREMENT SYSTEM, SO AS TO ALLOW A MEMBER TO ESTABLISH SERVICE CREDIT FOR MILITARY SERVICE PERFORMED AFTER 1975 UPON MAKING THE PAYMENT REQUIRED TO ESTABLISH FEDERAL CIVILIAN SERVICE AND TO PROVIDE THAT OTHER LIMITATIONS ON ESTABLISHING SERVICE CREDIT FOR MILITARY SERVICE CONTINUE TO APPLY AND TO DELETE OBSOLETE PROVISIONS.
