A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 56-5-755 so as to provide that a motor vehicle operator who fails to stop his motor vehicle when signaled by a law enforcement vehicle and is apprehended after a law enforcement officer pursues him more than one-half mile at a speed in excess of sixty miles an hour is guilty of a felony, and to provide penalties.
