    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-101-285 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ANY STATE-SUPPORTED COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, OR TECHNICAL COLLEGE WHICH, BASED ON APPROPRIATE TESTING RESULTS, REQUIRES A STUDENT TO TAKE REMEDIAL MATHEMATICS OR ENGLISH COURSES AS PART OF THE ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS OF THAT INSTITUTION SHALL BE REIMBURSED FOR THE COST THEREOF BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT FROM WHICH THE STUDENT GRADUATED, AND TO DEFINE COST AND STUDENT FOR THIS PURPOSE.
