    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 17-5-560, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE CORONER OR MEDICAL EXAMINER, OR THEIR DEPUTIES, CERTIFYING THE CAUSE OF DEATH ON DEATH CERTIFICATES, SO AS TO REQUIRE THEM TO COMPLETE THE CERTIFICATE RATHER THAN TO COMPLETE AND SIGN THE CERTIFICATE; AND TO AMEND SECTION 44-63-40, RELATING TO STATE AND COUNTY REGISTRARS AND CERTAIN DUTIES ASCRIBED TO THEM CONCERNING VITAL RECORDS, SO AS TO REQUIRE REPORTS OF BIRTH, DEATH, AND FETAL DEATH TO BE TRANSMITTED TO THE STATE REGISTRAR RATHER THAN FILED WITH THE COUNTY REGISTRAR.
