The Committee on Medical, Military, Public and Municipal Affairs proposes the following amendment (LC-3842.VR0001H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, by striking Section 40-45-285 and inserting:

 Section 40-45-285. A physical therapist may certify that an individual is handicapped and declare that the handicap is temporary or permanent for purposes of the individual's application for a handicapped placard.

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend title to conform.
