Rep. WHITE proposes the following Amendment No. to H.5126 as introduced by Ways & Means

EXPLANATION: Adds a proviso prohibiting the Office of Resilience from using funds appropriated to the Captain Sam's Spit Settlement until the General Assembly authorizes it by law.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 92D, OFFICE OF RESILIENCE, page 470, after line 29, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/Notwithstanding any other provision of this act, none of the funds appropriated, authorized, or otherwise made available in this act may be used for the acquisition of property or the settlement of litigation related to Captain Sam's Spit unless such expenditure is specifically authorized by a separate act of the General Assembly enacted after the effective date of this act./

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend totals and titles to conform.
