A CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
TO CONGRATULATE THE TOWN OF NEESES UPON THE
OCCASION OF ITS UPCOMING ONE HUNDREDTH
ANNIVERSARY IN NOVEMBER, 1993.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are pleased to learn that
the Town of Neeses, in November, 1993, will celebrate its one
hundredth anniversary as a municipality; and
Whereas, Neeses has been an integral part of the history of Orangeburg
County and the State of South Carolina and has contributed much to our
State's heritage and culture; and
Whereas, Neeses has been blessed with many concerned and
public-spirited citizens who have given generously of their time and
talents to make this delightful town a wonderful place to live and to
work; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution,
would like to publicly recognize and congratulate the Town of Neeses
on the occasion of its upcoming one hundredth anniversary. Now,
therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly, hereby congratulate the
Town of Neeses, South Carolina, upon the occasion of its upcoming one
hundredth anniversary in November, 1993.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the
Mayor of Neeses.
