AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-230, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN DORCHESTER COUNTY, SO AS TO REVISE THESE PRECINCTS AND THE DATE OF THE OFFICIAL MAP ON WHICH THE LINES OF THESE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Precincts revised

SECTION 1. Section 7-7-230 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 422 of 1994, is further amended to read:

"Section 7-7-230. (A) In Dorchester County there are the following voting precincts:

(C) The polling places for the precincts provided in this section must be established by the Dorchester County Election Commission."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
