Secretary in the Clinton Administration, and wishing him success and happiness
in his new endeavor.

A CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
CONGRATULATING DAVID AGNEW OF ANDERSON COUNTY
ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE
ASSISTANT UNITED STATES LABOR SECRETARY IN THE
CLINTON ADMINISTRATION, AND WISHING HIM SUCCESS
AND HAPPINESS IN HIS NEW ENDEAVOR.
Whereas, David Agnew, a native of Anderson County, has recently been
appointed a top aide in the United States Department of Labor; and
Whereas, Mr. Agnew will be serving as a special assistant to Assistant
Labor Secretary Jack Donahue in the department's policy office; and
Whereas, Mr. Agnew was the field coordinator for President Clinton's
Upstate (South Carolina) campaign in 1992 and is an extremely bright,
capable, and personable young man; and
Whereas, his appointment is a very high honor, and we are confident
that he will do a superb job and represent South Carolina well. Now,
therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this
resolution, congratulates David Agnew of Anderson County on his
appointment as special assistant to the Assistant United States Labor
Secretary in the Clinton Administration and wishes him success and
happiness in his new endeavor.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr.
Agnew.
