A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

PROVIDING FOR IMMEDIATE NOTIFICATION TO THE SENATE BANKING AND INSURANCE COMMITTEE, THE HOUSE LABOR, COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, AND THE PROCUREMENT REVIEW PANEL OF CERTAIN LOSSES OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA REINSURANCE FACILITY.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That, with respect to any audit regarding the management and operations of the South Carolina Reinsurance Facility, which audit results are released in 1997, the fact of facility losses totaling one and one-quarter billion dollars or more be brought to the immediate attention of the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee, the House Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee, and the Procurement Review Panel by the entity or person who conducted the audit.
