A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE T. L. HANNA HIGH SCHOOL GOLF TEAM OF ANDERSON UPON WINNING THE 1993 STATE AAA CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the T. L. Hanna High School golf team of Anderson made school history when it became the first Yellow Jacket squad to win all major tournaments in the same year; and

Whereas, after winning the Southern Cross invitational and the Region 1-AAA tournament, the Yellow Jackets captured the Class AAA State Championship over Myrtle Beach, the defending champions; and

Whereas, there were sixteen teams competing and T. L. Hanna finished first by two strokes; and

Whereas, the team had four players in the top eleven; and

Whereas, the team finished the season with a 22-2 win-loss record. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly congratulate the T. L. Hanna High School Golf Team of Anderson upon winning the 1993 State AAA Championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the T. L. Hanna High School Golf Team.
