A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING T. L. HANNA HIGH SCHOOL OF ANDERSON ON WINNING THE CLASS AAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN BOYS SOCCER FOR 1996.

Whereas, T. L. Hanna High School of Anderson clinched the Class AAA state championship in boys soccer for 1996 by defeating Middleton High School 3-1 on May 25, 1996; and

Whereas, the Yellow Jackets of T. L. Hanna High were coached to the 1996 state title by Dick Smith; and

Whereas, the Jackets exhibited tremendous talent, hard work, dedication, and unity en route to their highly successful season and are deserving of recognition and congratulations. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates T. L. Hanna High School of Anderson on winning the Class AAA state championship in boys soccer for 1996.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Dick Smith and his team at T. L. Hanna High School in Anderson.
