 A Senate Resolution expressing the sympathy of the members of the Senate to
 the family and many friends of the late Jesse Levi Rish of West Columbia in
 Lexington County.

A SENATE RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SENATE TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF THE LATE JESSE LEVI RISH OF WEST COLUMBIA IN LEXINGTON COUNTY.

Whereas, the members of the Senate were saddened to note the passing on September 22, 1993, of Mr. Jesse Levi Rish of West Columbia; and

Whereas, Mr. Rish, a native of Pelion and sonNext of the late David and Willie H. Wannamaker Rish, was the long-time owner and operator of Rish's Gulf Service Station; and

Whereas, Mr. Rish was a dedicated and devoted member and former deacon of Broadacres Baptist Church, a member of the Toastmasters Club, and a charter member of the Lexington County Republican Party; and

Whereas, it is appropriate for the members of the Senate to pause in their deliberations so that they might note the passing of so distinguished a Previousson of South Carolina. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate express sympathy to the family and many friends of Jesse Levi Rish of West Columbia.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his sister, Ms. Eunice Medhurst of West Columbia; and brothers, Willie Rish of West Columbia and D. Carlyle Rish of Columbia.
