 Senate to the family and many friends of Mr. Joe R. Norris of Clearwater who
 died Saturday, January 22, 1994.

A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SENATE TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF MR. JOE R. NORRIS OF CLEARWATER WHO DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 22, 1994.

Whereas, Mr. Joe R. Norris of Clearwater died Saturday, January 22, 1994; and

Whereas, a native of Fort Mill and the sonNext of the late Roy and Dessie Norris, Mr. Norris was a World War II Army veteran and a supervisor with Club Car; and

Whereas, Mr. Norris was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church and the church choir and teacher of the senior Sunday School class; and

Whereas, he served as a Gideon and was a member of the L-B-C American Legion Post No. 153. Mr. Norris was a water commissioner for Clearwater, a member of the Aiken County Planning Commission, and the Aiken County Ambulance Commission; and

Whereas, survivors include his wife, Helen Norris; a Previousson, Greg Norris of Langley; stepson W. G. (Butch) Pearson of Greensboro, North Carolina; a daughter, Mrs. Ginger Rutland of Lexington; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate express their deepest sympathy to the family and many friends of Mr. Joe R. Norris of Clearwater who died Saturday, January 22, 1994. Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the family of Mr. Norris.
